Yes, you can rent a boat and do whatever you please. My guess would be about 2,000 Baht for 2 hours.

Hi all,

Heading back to Thailand in September and hoping to visit some of the Islands from Phuket.

Would ideally love to find a company that do private boat rides or hire a long tail boat to head out to Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay..etc

We want something safe, reasonably priced and a reliable company. We dont mind having to take our own food or what not. We just dont want to be pushed onto the boat with other people and having to leave the island when they boat says we have to, we want to take our own time and...

Heading back to Thailand in September and hoping to visit some of the Islands from Phuket.

Would ideally love to find a company that do private boat rides or hire a long tail boat to head out to Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay..etc

Long tail is also not my pick, as they are very noisey. They can be nice if you have a private charter, but not for what I think you want to do.

Which trip? Personal choice, for me Phang Nga Bay (James Bond is part of this, actually the worse part, its over run with tourists and Touts). If me the scenery is amazing, and its a much more varied trip than Phi Phi, which has some nice beaches an snorkeling, but if you dont love snorkeling can be a bit boring, to me anyway.
