Slingshot Maine Cast on aka German Twisted Cast on aka Norwegian Cast on
Maine method cast on from Robin Hansen's Favorite Mittens book. Only followed the illustration in the book for the first stitch. Use slingshot like regular long tail cast on for the subsequent stitches. The Maine caston is supposed to be more stretchy.
