Honu Kite, four leg bridle, forward tow point, double long tail

This kite was made as a reconstructive experimental investigation into the practices of kite flying by the peoples of Pacific Oceania. The bridle location and amount of tail must be set by trial. Various adjustments to the bridle rig, tow point location, amount and location of tails led to this successful configuration. A detailed, illustrated, step by step tutorial on building this kite may be found here: http://www.endlesslift.com/2014/01/hawaiian-honu-kite/
