The long tail cast on method is one of my favorite ways to cast on. It's quick, it's easy, and I can have 50 stitches on my needle in no time.

The Alsace Long Tail Cast On--Yet another version of the long tail cast on. This Long Tail variation creates a row of KNITS on the right side of the work --that is when you have finished casting on, and turn the work to begin row 1, you will be looking at a row of knit stitches.
